제1조(목적) 본 규정은 한국트라이볼로지학회(이하 학회)에서 출판하는 모든 간행물의 발행에 관련된 세부 사항을 정하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

제2조(발행 범위 및 학술지 명칭) 발행범위는 학술지, 학술대회 발표논문집, 강습회 교재 및 기타 학회에서 발간하는 모든 간행물이 포함된다. 학회에서 발행하는 학술지의 국문 명칭은 “한국트라이볼로지학회지”, 영문 명칭은 “Tribology and Lubricants” (영문 약어 : Tribol. Lubr.) 로 한다.

제3조(발행　시기) 학회에서 발간하는 학술지는 연 6회 발행하며 격월(2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12월)로 해당월 말일에 발행한다. 또한, 춘계 및 추계 학술대회 논문집은 학술대회 기간에, 강습회 교재는 강습회 기간에, 기타 간행물은 필요에 따라서 각각 출간한다. 학술지를 포함한 간행물의 창간 또는 폐간, 발행 횟수나 발행일의 변경은 편집위원회의 의결과 학회 이사회의 승인을 거쳐 정한다.

제4조(편집위원회)
① 학회에서 발간하는 모든 간행물의 출판에 관한 업무를 전담하기 위하여 편집위원회를 구성한다.
② 편집위원회의 구성 및 운영에 대해서는 “편집위원회운영 및 논문심사규정”을 따른다.

제5조(학술지 원고의 모집 및 심사)
① 학술지에 투고할 원고는 “논문투고규정 및 집필요강”에 의거하여 작성되어야 하며, 연중 수시로 접수한다.
② 학술지에 투고된 논문의 게재 여부는 “편집위원회운영 및 논문심사규정”에서 정한 방법 및 절차에 따라 엄격한 심사를 통해 결정한다.

제6조(편집 및 인쇄)
① 투고된 원고의 학술지 게재 순서는 게재가 확정된 순서에 따름을 원칙으로 한다. 단, 동일 권, 호 내의 게재 순서는 편집위원회가 결정한다.
② 편집위원장의 재량에 의하여 학술지 특별호를 발행할 수 있다.
③ 최종 인쇄가 완료된 간행물은 사무국에서 배부한다. 모든 간행물의 출간후에는 학회 이사회 및 총회에 보고한다.
④ 학술지를 포함한 간행물의 원고 및 내용에 대한 저작권의 양도, 준수 및 활용에 대해서는 별도의 규정에 따른다.

제7조(게재료) 학술지 등 간행물에 투고된 원고의 게재료(심사료 포함)에 대해 소정의 저자 부담금을 징수할 수 있으며, 이에 대한 세부 사항은 학회 이사회에서 별도로 정한다.

제8조(기타) 본 규정에 명시되지 않은 사항은 편집위원회의 의결에 따른다.

부 칙
본 규정은 제정일로부터 시행한다. 본 규정이 개정될 시에는 개정일로부터 즉시 효력을 발생한다.

Article 1: [Purpose] The purpose of this regulation is to determine the details related to all the publications of the Korean Tribology Society (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Society’).

Article 2: [Scope and Name of Publication] The scope of publications of the Society includes journals, conference proceedings, technical seminar books, tutorials, workshop booklets, and so on. The name of the journal published by the Society (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Journal’) shall be “Tribology and Lubricants” (English abbreviation: Tribol. Lubr.).

Article 3: [Publication Period] The Journal is issued six times a year and is published bimonthly on the last day of even-numbered months (February, April, June, August, October, December). In addition, spring and fall conference proceedings are published during the conference, technical seminar books during the seminar period, and other publications as necessary. Publication or closure, changes in frequency or date of the publication shall be decided by the editorial board and approval of the Board of Directors of the Society.

Article 4: [Editorial Board]
① The editorial board shall be organized to be dedicated to all the publications of the Society.
② The organization and operation of the editorial board shall be in accordance with the “Operation Rules of the Editorial Board and Article Review Guidelines".

Article 5: [Call-for-Papers and Review]
① Manuscripts to be submitted to the Journal should be prepared in accordance with the “Submission and Authors’ Guidelines for Papers”.
② The publication of articles submitted to the Journal shall be determined through strict peer-review in accordance with the “Operation Rules of the Editorial Board and Article Review Guidelines".

Article 6: [Edit and Print]
① The publication order of the paper should be based on the order of acceptance for publication. The publication order in the same volume and issue may be adjusted by the editorial board.
② A special issue of the Journal may be issued at the discretion of the editor-in-chief.
③ The publications are distributed by the editorial office. After all publications have been done, they shall be reported to the Board of Directors and the General Assembly.
④ The transfer, compliance and use of copyrights on the contents of the publications shall be subject to separate regulations.

Article 7: [Publication Fee] The prescribed publication fee (including the review fee) may be charged to the authors. Details shall be determined separately by the Board of Directors of the Society.

Article 8: [Others] Items not specified in this regulation shall be subject to the decision of the editorial board.

Addendum
These guidelines shall be effective on and from the date of enactment. The amended rules are effective immediately on the day of amendment.
